Vladimir Camacho
Vladimir brings almost 20 years of airline/air cargo and ramp operations experience. He was a Manager of Cargo Services (JFK) for American Airlines. In 2004, he went to Iraq as part of the rebuilding effort, concentrating on commercial aviation operations at Basra International Airport. Upon his return, he did extensive operational re-engineering consulting work for American Airlines Cargo.
He successfully launched Hertz Rent-a-Car’s suburban expansion in Long Island, NY as their City Manager in 2005. His consulting experience, besides American Airlines Cargo, includes the City Council of New York City, and NonZero Ventures LLC of Chicago (a boutique consulting firm), as well as working alongside IBM, Deloitte, and EDS (now part of Hewlett Packard).
Vladimir holds an MBA in Finance from the Peter J. Tobin College of Business at St. John’s University, NY, and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from St. Francis College, NY. He was also an Adjunct Professor at Vaughn College of Aeronautics & Technology and at (CUNY) York College’s Business & Economics Aviation Management Program, both in New York City.
